Advancements in Neurosurgery – 02

Shifa International Hospitals Ltd. in collaboration with Shifa Foundation has organized a webinar series on “Advancements in Neurosurgery” to provide updates about the advancements in the field of neurosurgery.

This activity was designed to update clinical knowledge which will help you to improve your daily practice, enhance patient confidence and improve patient safety.

Prof. Theodore H. Schwartz, Professor of Minimally Invasive Neurosurgery, Weill Cornell Medicine, New York, USA joined the series as a guest lecture and discussed the Surgery for Functioning and Non- Functioning Adenomas and highlights the aspects which can be fruitful for treating the disease by taking care of patient health followed by the talk of  Dr. Akbar Ali Khan – Neurosurgeon from Shifa International Hospitals ltd. who discussed The Dilemma of Surgical Management of Craniopharyngiomas in Pakistan to upgrade the knowledge of healthcare workers.

Dr. Osama Ishtiaq, Endocrinologist, Shifa International Hospitals Ltd. Islamabad. discussed Functioning Pituitary Adenomas followed by the talk of Dr. Umar Yousaf Raja, Endocrinologist, Shifa International Hospitals Ltd. Islamabad who discussed the Non-Functioning Adenomas.
