Masterclass in Neurosurgery
Shifa International Hospitals Ltd. in collaboration with Shifa Foundation has organized “Masterclass in Neurosurgery” to provide updates about the latest developments in the field of neurosurgery.
Prof. Dr. Muhammad Nadeem, Consultant Neurosurgery, Shifa International Hospitals Ltd. Islamabad, with his opening remarks appreciated the efforts of new comers who are contributing their lives to invent different kinds of treatments.
Dr. Bakhtiar Ahmed, PG Neurosurgery, SIH, Dr. Ali Tassadaq Hussain Minhas, Senior Fellow Neurosurgery, SIH along with Prof. Muhammad Nadeem discussed the issues in head injury and management of disease by controlling it’s spread.
After detailed discussion on Head Injury, Dr. Shahid Ahmed Shah, Consultant Neurosurgery, SIH opens discussion on Spinal Injury and MIS and Degenerative Lumber and cervical. During presentations, questions from participants were answered.
Dr. Syed Vaqar Hussain Shah, PG Neurosurgery, SIH discussed Brain and Spinal Tumors followed by the talk of Dr. Aamna Anwaar, PG Neurosurgery, SIH on Hydro Cephalous.
Dr. Muhammad Munawar Hussain, PG Neurosurgery, SIH discussed Myelomeningocele with the help of case presentation. Role of Neurosurgery in Stroke were discussed by the Prof. Dr. Muhammad Nadeem, Consultant Neurosurgery, SIH.
Participants from around the globe attended the Masterclass in Neurosurgery. Live case studies were presented by speakers frequently throughout the Masterclass were being appreciated by the participants.
