With the aim to improve the neonatal care as per the world-wide accepted standards, series of recurring “Neonatal Resuscitation Program” is organized. This hands-on demonstration will facilitate in updating the skills and performances of participants in terms of resuscitation.
Learning Objectives:
Upon conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:
- Recognize the signs and symptoms of a neonate in cardiorespiratory distress
- Perform effective airway management including bag-mask ventilation
- Explain the indications and contra-indications of medications used during neonatal resuscitation
- Explain the indications to perform the steps of neonatal resuscitation
