Neonatal Resuscitation Program

With the aim to improve the neonatal care as per the world-wide accepted standards, series of recurring “Neonatal Resuscitation Program” is organized. This hands-on demonstration will facilitate in updating the skills and performances of participants in terms of resuscitation.

 

 

Learning Objectives:

Upon conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:

  • Recognize the signs and symptoms of a neonate in cardiorespiratory distress
  • Perform effective airway management including bag-mask ventilation
  • Explain the indications and contra-indications of medications used during neonatal resuscitation
  • Explain the indications to perform the steps of neonatal resuscitation
