Professional Career: 30+ years as Faculty at Harvard Medical School, from Instructor to Associate Professor.
Past Founding Director of Women`s Imaging and Breast Imaging Fellowship at Brigham and Women`s Hospitals, Boston- 2001 to 2017.
Past Director of Clinical Breast MR at Brigham and Women`s Hospital, Boston, 2005- 2017.
Currently working clinically and continuing to teach Residents and Fellows at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston, MA and Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon, New Hampshire.
Learning Objectives:
Towards the end of the session, participants would be able to:
- Identify and describe various imaging modalities used in breast cancer detection and diagnosis.
- Discuss how imaging findings impact treatment planning in breast cancer.
- Differentiate between benign and malignant breast lesions, through imaging characteristics.
