INTRODUCTION

Shifa Center of Professional Excellence (SCOPE) in collaboration with the ORIC- Shifa Tameer –e- Millat University (STMU) is organizing an online workshop on Green infrastructure and urban health, on April 04, 2023 to create awareness regarding importance of green infrastructure, and medical advancements in clinical practices following the healthcare practices.

GUEST SPEAKER

Professor Hisham Elkadi    

Dean, Architecture and the Built Environment

University of Salford,-Manchester, UK

 

Professor Elkadi is the Chair of Architecture and former Dean of at the University of Salford in the United Kingdom. He works closely with the construction industry, local, and national governments and has contributed to regeneration of a number of cities including Geelong, Australia, Rome, Belfast, Salford and Manchester. He continued to hold affiliations with other organizations and positions, such as that of Director of Architecture at University of Newcastle, Tyne in the UK, Head of School of Architecture and Design in Belfast, and Chair of the University Academic Board at Deakin University in Australia. He further worked as an invited external examiner for many universities, including Harvard GSD, the University of Toronto, Edinburgh, Newcastle, and many others.
