Overview:
Shifa Center of Professional Excellence is organizing Moderate Sedation Course for the healthcare providers working in Intensive care.
Learning Objectives:
At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Identify general principles and precautions in medications used for moderate sedation.
- Identify components of Shifa International Hospital’s Sedation Policy.
- Identify discharge and transfer criteria following moderate sedation.
- Define the physician/provider’s responsibilities for pre-procedural assessment in procedures requiring sedation.
- Demonstrate the essential basic procedure related to moderate sedation.
- Demonstrate effective communication skills.
