In collaboration with Pakistan Arthroscopy & Sports Surgery Society, a hands-on workshop is curated to understand the Arthroscopic Procedures under the leadership of Dr. Sajjad H. Orakzai, Consultant Orthopedic Surgery, Shifa International Hospitals Ltd, Islamabad.
Subjects covered in the lecture series ranged from Cruciate ligaments, chondral defects, shoulder instability, adhesive capsulitis, revision surgery to future treatment in arthroscopy.
This was followed by live surgery to demonstrate ACL reconstruction and partial meniscectomy by Dr. Sajjad.
There was extremely healthy debate and interaction on these subjects, which was appreciated both by participants and faculty members.
