Shifa Center of Professional Excellence (SCOPE) is organizing a workshop on Neonatal Mechanical Ventilation to commemorate the beginning of Respiratory Care services in neonatal intensive care unit (ICU). The primary objective of this workshop is to focus on basic and advanced modes of mechanical ventilation in neonatal population. The workshop will also highlight oxygenation and ventilation matters and how to optimize them. Through this workshop, learners will get the opportunity to draw firsthand experience on using ventilation circuits as well as troubleshooting. This learning experience will open windows of opportunity for healthcare providers to learn a new dimension of providing outclass care.

- Basics of Mechanical Ventilation
- Pressure Control Ventilation Modes
- When and how to use Volume Guarantee Ventilation
- High Frequency Ventilation
- Setting up the ventilator, circuits and trouble shooting
- Oxygenation and ventilation blood gas interpretation.
